DiiD Privacy Policy

DiiD does not collect or store personal information. That is our privacy policy in a nutshell. The rest of this page tries to explain where it could happen, and why we don’t do it.

The DiiD App

DiiD does not require or record any personal information about you: We don't utilize email addresses, passwords, phone numbers or SMS We don't store any unique device identifiers (no IMEI, no SSAID, etc.) We do not store any IP addresses.

Data Collection

Status is provided to you by a third party who authors this in a format called a DiiD. DiiD’s are captured and stored in the DiiD App.The DiiD Platform does not collect not store any personal or device information that can be linked to this DiiD.

The extent of DiiD data collection is to provide third parties who provide you with services, based on the DiiD status granted to you, information on how many activations of status occur, from which sources, and click through rates of DiiD metadata inside the app. Since the DiiD App and platform neither request nor store any personal data, we cannot share any personal data with these parties. Your transactions are therefore anonymized and private. Your personal data shared outside the platform cannot be linked to the status you obtain, unless you chose to do so.

We may query your IP address for the purpose of regionalization of content or for providing parters with the ability to geofence offers, but this data is not logged or stored in our systems, so we cannot pass this information to any third party.
